Bro. Eli Soriano gives support to the wounded, living SAF in Song for Heroes 2

June 30, 2015, Philippines.   Songs For Heroes 2 Ang Mamatay Nang Dahil sa Iyo held at the Mall of Asia Arena (MOA) is jam-packed!

It started with a simple tweet, a promise made by the Presiding Minister of the Members Church of God International, Bro. Eli Soriano, awarding our men in uniform.

UNTV-BMPI CEO, Daniel Razon graciously thanked all the performers for the night.

“Nagpapasalamat kami sa lahat ng dumalo, una sa Poong Maykapal, sa Members Church of God International… wala kaming masabi sa sapat na salita. Sana, hanggang sa muling pagkakataon, para sa mga tagapagtanggol ng ating bayan, sa PNP at AFP.

Kaya tayo nandito ay para maibigay ang proceeds ng concert – to PNP and AFP, both to receive 3 million pesos.”

 Bro. Eli Soriano, seeing that it is, but fair, to also recognize the wounded and living SAF.

“There is something lacking. Naalala natin ang Fallen 44, ang PNP, ang AFP… such a small amount, naliliitan ako sa 3 million. Sana nandiyan si Mr. Henares. Magbibigay ako ng 1 million at tutumbasan nya ng another 1 million. Ibibigay natin sa mga nasugatan. Alam kong may magandang puso si Mr. Henares na kilala kong may magandang kalooban sa kapwa.”

On the other hand, General Pio Catapang said, “Sobra na po ang naibigay ninyo sa amin. Mabuti kayo at naaalala nyo kami kahit malayo kayo.”
