Guaratuba, PR Brasil [11/6/2017] Broadcasting live to different languages: Tagalog, English, Portuguese and Spanish.. A debate between Bro. Eli Soriano of the Members Church of God International and pastor of the Foursquare Church took place. With over thousand views and shares, the debate also trend in Twitter on the 6th spot.
Bro. Eli pointed out that the early Christians did not perform tithes. They gave more than what their hearts desire.
“You do not respect the topic that you signed. You do not respect the commandment.”
After the November 1, 2017 Bible Expositon held at Guaratuba, Parana, the O Caminho Antigo Channel has over 3.5K views on its plugging after the two parties signed an agreement for a peaceful debate. It is remembered that for over a time, no one wants to debate Bro. Eli because of the latter has a reputation of not lost any debate.
The supposed to be debate that Bro. Eli Soriano accepted is from the pastor of Igreja Mundial – Valdemiro Santiago, which the later did not answered back. “To show to the Brazilians that I preach what is in the Bible. March 6, 2016, I , Bro. Eli Soriano, accept the challenge of Valdemiro Santiago to a debate.”
Um pregador insensato.
“I am sorry if I offended you, Irmao Douglas, I speak directly. Not to glorify myself but based on the Bible. I hope you understand. Pastor Douglas said that Bro. Eli went out of the question. He reiterated that in Brazil, there is no preacher that preach the way Bro. Eli do.
Irmao Rodel shared his experience. “Bro. Eli is spending his own money and there is no other preacher that preach and spend like Bro. Eli. He cited an example that he is going to different places and cited the verse in Romans 15:20 – Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man’s foundation:
“Come forward if I am selling the word of God here in Brazil.” Bro. Eli explained that criticizing almost all religion in Bible Exposition is expected. He pointed out that he did not mean to criticize the Igreja Quadrangular, which is the religion of the guest.
“I was asking Irmao Edson (Veiga – Bro. Eli’s translator ) because he is a former member of the Igreja Quadrangular. If you say that you are a member of Quadrangular, I am not attacking you. To satisfy your desire, let your pastor of Quadrangular to come forward to prove your religion.”
Bro. Rodel said that he is a pastor in the Four Square Church.
“Okay. 1 agree because I am a person that watch the program and admire you. I am also a preacher of truth.”
Pastor Douglas said that Bro. Eli can choose anything that he believes that is in contrast in his religion but Bro. Eli said that since he watch his program and knows the Members Church of God International and don’t know everything about his church, its better that he will be the one to choose the theme for the debate. Bro. Eli encouraged the members of the Quadrangular to watch the debate.
“I suggest, they should change their name to Adventista Cada Setimo Dia.”
Florianopolis, Santa Catarina Brazil [April 28, 2017] Brother Eli Soriano blast the erroneous teachings of the Seventh Day Adventist in the recent Bible Exposition held at Florianopolis, Santa Catarina Brazil, 28th of April 2017.
A guest prompted this question, is it right to work during Saturdays? Is it important?
Bro. Eli cited the verse in Mark 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. It is foolishness to the Seventh Day Adventist because their hospitals are open and even the janitors are working. Pastors are profiting and even let woman led the church — Ellen G. White, the founder of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. What kind of woman is Ellen G. White?
She prophesied that the world will end in 1843. Bro. Eli Soriano added, “…when they failed the prophecy, they blamed God. At first glace, it is wrong! The name is wrong. I asked why adventist? He said, we are waiting for the Christ. But they should have said, “CADA setimo dia” … every Saturdays. Americans bring these religions here in Brazil. I suggest, they should change their name to Adventista Cada Setimo Dia. I even encourage a debate to prove it. They said that there is only 10 commandments. I said, is baptism a commandment? He said yes, then, it is already 11. It is on the bible.”
Some of the guests diligently listening to Bro. Eli’s explanation based on the Bible.
Bible Exposition or Exposição da Bíblia in Portuguese started in the Philippines via the program Ang Dating Daan, a religious radio and television program that is now airing 24- hour web streaming hosted by Bro. Although we are of different races and colors, doing good doesn’t have to have barriers. Bro. Eli Soriano, also a supporter of many advocacies, provides a lot of help which he also sees an opportunity for others to make use of their lives by giving something meaningful to our fellowmen. As Kuya Daniel Razon says, “Ang paggawa ng mabuti ay di magbubunga ng masama.”
Davao City, Philippines [9/2/2016] Before 11 in the evening of September 2, 2016, a loud explosion with smoke shaken Roxas, Davao City night market. 14 people had been killed and 60 injured. An on-going investigation is conducted to determine the real cause of the explosion.
In an interview of Sunstar Davao on Director Manuel Gaerlan, Police Regional Officer, they are looking into the possibility that a liquified petroleum gas (LPG) cause the blast. Checkpoints were establish at all exit points in the city. The victims were rushed to the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC), Limso Hospital, Davao Doctors Hospital, and Brokenshire Hospital.
Seeing that the auditorium cannot accommodate more, he thought of buying a larger venue of more than 30,000 seating capacity. A new convention center near the airport is a good idea. Another good news to our fellowmen, a Diagnostic Center will be opening in Metro Manila. It is a 4-storey building with elevator wherein equipment’s and patients will be placed. Scheduled to be operational before the end of this year for the benefit of the brethren and non-brethren.
Kuya Daniel mentioned about what the program Serbisyong Kasambahay is for.
Bro. Eli Soriano also expressed his hearts desire in coming back to the Philippines and to meet the brethren in Davao City. But if plans don’t go forward, Bro. Eli has this message to all:
“Sa mga taga Davao, pasensiya na kayo. Sa mga kapatid sa Davao, kaunti lang ang mga nakapagtanong. Gusto ko nga sanang makabalik diyan sa Davao. Nami-miss ko na, sana kung loloobin ng Dios, makabalik ako diyan sa inyo. Pero kung di man ako makakabalik sa inyo mga kapatid, andiyan naman si Kapatid na Daniel. Tulungan nyo siya sa gawain at sa mga pagtataguyod ng mga gawain.”
The time is also perfect as the topic for the Thanksgiving is being delivered in the midst of the congregation. Brethren learned the significance and the limitless love and care of God Almighty.
