SONG FOR HEROES Concert Theme “True and Lasting Peace for Filipino People.”

The preparation for the Songs for Heroes, A Benefit Concert for the Gallant 44 is in top form as the artist gathers together for one last time for their rehearsals. Expect your favorite songs to be sung at the big event at SM Mall of Asia on the 19th of March.

The participation of The Philipiine National Police and Air Forces of the Philippines Choir  would mean a lot especially to the families left behind by saluting their fellow comrades through music to this one of a kind charity for a cause concert.

The men and women in uniform and artists has this to say:

This concert-for-a-cause is spearheaded by Bro. Eli Soriano, Presiding Minister of the Members Church of God International (MCGI). He already gave out an initial amount of P1 million pesos to the charity event. The proceeds will benefit the families left by the soldiers in the Mamasapano clash.

UNTV, the only public service station had previously supported a benefit concert for the families of the mediamen killed at Maguindanao massacre. Money raised for the Songs for Heroes would go directly to the families.
